Train set-ups
A train set-up is a train or rake that you put together from articles: a locomotive with wagons, a multiple unit, a run with everything that belongs to it. You see at a glance what you already have and what is still missing.
Making a train set-up
- Choose New set-up and give it a name and optionally a description.
- Choose a scale. With a scale the site checks the train length and warns about articles of another scale.
- Open the set-up and choose Add article. Search or filter, tick what you want and add it. You can search several times; what you tick is kept until you add.
- Put the articles in the right order with the arrows (Move up, Move down) or by dragging the handle ⠿.
What do you see?
For each line it says whether you own the article (✓) or it is missing (✗). At the top is the total length (the lengths of the articles added up, with a note if some are unknown) and the percentage you own.
- Maximum train length – per scale you set how long your longest train may be. If the set-up gets longer you get a warning. Leaving it empty means no limit. You set this in the list of set-ups.
- Other scale – if an article of another scale is in it, you get a warning.
The order decides who gets what you own first. If you have an item only once and it occurs in two set-ups, only the top set-up gets the tick.
What do you still have to buy?
Under Still to buy you see what you miss, with the indicative price and the total. With Put missing articles on the wish list they all go to your wish list at once.
Register and Run
With Register and Run you open a printable list of the set-up. There you fill in the digital address (decoder addresses) per article and can print the list to use at the layout.
Deleting a set-up
That only deletes the set-up; your collection is left alone.
