Terms of use

1. Who we are

2. The service

ModelbaanPro lets you keep a private record of your model railway collection, wishlist, train combinations and layout, on top of a shared catalogue of articles.

3. Trial and licence

A new account has a trial of 60 days. After that you need a paid licence to add or change your own data. You pay by bank transfer, quoting the payment reference shown in your profile; the licence is extended once we have seen the payment. The trial counts as a full licence. If your licence has expired you can still view and export your data for 30 days, but not change it; after that your account is closed until you extend your licence. Closing does not by itself delete your data.

4. Your data stays yours

Your collection, wishlist, combinations, layout and photos are private. You can export them and delete your account at any time.

5. Contributions to the catalogue

The catalogue is shared. When you propose a change, a price or a new article, you grant ModelbaanPro a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to publish and use that contribution in the catalogue. Do not submit material you have no right to share. Contributions are reviewed and may be rejected or corrected. If you delete your account, your contributions remain in the catalogue without your name.

6. Acceptable use

Do not try to access other people's data, overload the service, or use it for unlawful purposes. We may block accounts that do.

7. Accuracy

Catalogue data, prices and calculations are provided as help and may contain errors. Check important values (for example for insurance) yourself.

8. Changes and ending

You can stop at any time by deleting your account. We may change these terms; for significant changes we will notify you in advance.

9. Applicable law

Dutch law applies, without taking away mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
